Chase and CCV

Options
Does anyone know how to obtain the CVV number of their real Chase debit card number (rather than the pseudo number in the app)?
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Don't know what you're talking about. In the app, if you click on the debit card and select "card details", it will show you the security code (CVV). There is no pseudo number in the app.

View card details in app. No false info.
  • What they probably mean is is the CVV for the physical card the same as the CVV for the virtual card 🤷‍♂️

Though tbh I can't see how useful it would be to know the physical card CVV, when you don't know the physical card's card number 🤔

The cvv on app is the correct cvv for use with debit card. All details shown for card are correct and can be used over phone etc etc

It is possible to obtain the real card number by various means
The CCV for the number in the app is different for the CVV for the number on the card

I didn't say false details. I said pseudo details. Perhaps I should have used the term 'virtual card number'

No its not. The card requires a different CVV to the app

I have made a purchase over phone and online with the card no and cvv shown on app. In my opinion,  which may be wrong, that connects the details shown on app with card. I may be misinterpting your query, Apologies. Pseudo.....false/fake!

The number on the physical card is different to the number in the app. Very similar to how Google and Apple Pay work. The number in the app is 'fake' as you put it, as it can be changed on a whim, whereas the number on the microchip on the card is the real number. When trying to obtain receipts etc online for when the physical card has been used, you need the details on the physical card .
