Wrong takeaway order delivered

How can you be certain KFC gave Just Eat the right bag? Or that KFC put the right stuff in the right bag?
(Sorry - might be a stupid question but I don't use these takeaway services so don't know how they work)1 -
It had someone else's name on it!0

Did the order have your name and address on it? If so the takeaway made the error.
If it has another name and address on it, why did you accept it?0 -
Wrong name and address - only spotted as we opened the bag.
Driver had long gone by then.
Next time he doesn't get away until we've at least checked the label! (20:20 hindsight)0 -
Surely it would have been better to eat the food that was delivered? It's KFC so can't vary that much, and what's not to like at KFC?!?!
I would have contacted KFC directly to let them know the wrong food had been delivered. They might have handed the wrong bag over to the courier then given them your address. It sometimes happens when they have more than one delivery person.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1 -
Clearly lots of people have had lots of problems with food delivery but, as far as I can see from the posts so far, nobody is aware of an escalation mechanism for when Just Eat refuse to accept that their driver made a mistake and refuse to make good on that mistake.
It was worth a try.0 -
How much did the order vary?

Does it matter? We didn't get our order, we want a refund!0

Update:
Ok, so we've all got a tale to tell about poor service but it's an escalation route I'm after!0 -
Card provider? If they won't help then you're out of options, unless you want to go to court over it.0
