Hi all

Just Eats recently delivered us someone else's order. We've tried complaining to them but they're refusing to refund.

Is there anywhere we can escalate it to?

Thanks,
Gary

What did you do with the order?

I think they mean what did you do with the food?

Sone time ago I vowed never to use these 3rd party food delivery companies again, after I used Uber eats and the driver went to the wrong address. She called me and said “I’m here, can you see me”, no she was about 2 mins away. It took ages to direct her to the right address and she was adamant she was at the right place. Got here eventually after she said it was our fault and threatened to Chuck the food order in the bin.
I complained about her and managed to get a partial refund. It wasn’t worth all the stress of trying to get through to this muppet. Never again.

Ah! The food went in the bin as they wouldn't come and collect it.

Trying to complain to Just Eat is almost pointless they just say contact the takeaway the takeaway has your number now so they don’t answer.

Was it the wrong food but from the correct takeaway? In which case you should have contacted the takeaway directly immediately to get a replacement. Most of the time the driver is employed by the takeaway too.

But if they gave you food from the wrong takeaway/restaurant then that is Just Eats courier who made the error and probably got the bags mixed up in their bag.

The KFC bit was right but the Just Eat driver swapped orders.
It's definitely a Just Eat problem.
