Did you get a WS bundle from DCB Legal?  If not you could save yourself a lot of wasted time by phoning the local court NOW and asking if they've discontinued but not told you.

Not had a WS bundle from DCB? What is that actually? Only just seen your reply, I'll have to ring the court tomorrow. Thanks for replying.

I'll get sorted on my WS now, just in case it's not been discontinued. I'll post it tonight and it would be grateful if anyone could look it over for me. Thanks.

You need to read the second post of the NEWBIES thread again. The section I carefully put together under a red capitals heading re 'WHAT HAPPENS WHEN'.

Clearly you were both told in the hearing order to exchange WS bundles and have not.  Hopefully your court might tell you the other side has discontinued (if you are saying that DCB Legal haven't sent you what you should have been expecting).

Having read through some posts on the Newbies thread I now understand that both parties exchange their WS, I thought I just send it to the CC. So as you rightly mentioned Coupon-mad I haven't received a WS from DCB and the court date is later this month, so hopefully they have discontinued.

Nothing goes to the Northampton email.  Only to your local court & DCB Legal.  Ask the court staff got the right email address while on the phone.

But if they haven't discontinued, you must get that WS bundle in tomorrow (if you are late) and that should prompt DCB Legal to give up.

Some fantastic news, the claim has been discontinued! 
It was my son who received the parking charge but for ease of using the forums I just acted as if it was me. Anyhow, for weeks I've been asking him to check his emails in case DCB had emailed him a notice of discontinuance, and he'd been saying he hadn't. I've spent nearly 4 hours at the computer this evening trawling through many threads preparing his WS. When he finally got home tonight from work I got him to check again by searching for "DCB Legal" in his emails as he hadn't received a WS from DCB yet, and I was hoping they hadn't as Coupon-mad said it could mean that they had discontinued. To my delight he had received an email last month with a notice of discontinuance! I can't believe this has dragged out for nearly 16 months!
Sorry Coupon-mad, you did say ring the court tomorrow as it could save me time on the WS if they had discontinued, but I wanted to get on with it tonight!
Anyhow, thanks everyone for your time and effort in helping people in matters like this, we cannot allow companies like this to cause stress and upset to people, and you all should be proud in what you have achieved for the people on this forum.
