    Swollen and achey @EssexHebridean!
Might be allergic reaction, might have walloped myself in the face while asleep. Guess it'll take a few days at least to recover and is bound to be worse in mornings when there's been less drainage opportunity overnight.
    Am taking antihistamines and ibuprofen.
No other symptoms of anything so just one of those random annoying things. Fine in myself other than knackered so grateful for that.

I have however not even got washed and dressed yet let alone done any movement or anything productive, and I suspect it will remain so today!

I had a really bad dose of eczema a few years ago that started off with me waking up with a random swollen eye. It spread all over my body and became infected so badly it was weeping pus and I ended up on antibiotics and steroids. Hopefully this isn’t the case with you.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I'm technically reading six books at once @doingitanyway 😁
But the two I started today were to have some variety, a murder mystery for some relief from economics reform!

If you're struggling with your one, leave it for another time and pick up something you fancy at the moment
