Lol, we've had a problem with them here over the years. Sometimes you spot one & honestly never see it again, other times they are outriders for a group. Let's hope this one had actually intended to visit someone else & accidentally got the wrong flat.

    It's pronounced squeak @beanielou 😁
It was no bigger than the big black creature that sometimes lives on the kitchen ceiling so unless I see more than one I am refusing to worry

I have quite fine, quite thick hair with a distinct wave. It's taken me yeeeears to find someone who can cut it how I like it with layers (it's mid back length on me), and I now have longer a relationship with my hairdresser than with Mr KK!  ;)

    KK
My hairdresser and I are never parting ways... Definitely also my longest term relationship outside family and some friends... ;)

Good news re the Ernie win PIP - at leats that is going your way.
     Fingers crossed for your building.

Re the mouse - can you borrow a cat for a few days - hopefully the smell might put a new family of mice moving in?
Having said that they (AI)  say in London you are always within 42 feet of a rat  unless you are above the first floor as they dont like climbing apparently  so being top of the building is a good thing.

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

If I borrowed a cat I wouldn't be able to give it back @LadyWithAPlan 😁 Missing all the moggies!

Haven't seen stranger mouse since, and to be fair, while I know one shouldn't anthropomorphise animals especially wild animals, it had big stance of 'Well this is embarrassing, I have no idea why I walked into this room' which I very much empathise with, so hopefully it's just gone its normal elsewhere way

    Usuals

Downloaded an app from a survey provider I have to keep on till the end of April for £10 that is already driving me mad 😁

25 minute walk getting olio breads

Looked at planning permission for clarity on what is allowed pre build, much as we thought but good to double check and bonus points to me for a very boring job

    Half wussy situps

Chased up things pertaining to bills, provider renewals, and account holder changes- smart meters still not working. As I have said before and doubtless will again, how Octopus keep ranking highly in consumer polls absolutely beggars belief from my constant experience, worst utilities company I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with

    Flat clean with Mr PIP

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 4k

Hour walk with Mr PIP for beer with a friend, pub had Sonoma (3.8%) by Track brewery (Manchester) on cask which is rare and delicious so I was a happy bunny
Got some free postcards for comping, found 5p

Dinner is mum's ratatouille with pasta and cheese 😊

Do you think the mouse was a runner up prize for one of the competitions you've entered?   Maybe the headline said win £1000 and in teeny tiny print it said 10 runners up will each receive a small mouse.

😂 Ooh maybe @Blackcats, will add it to my rather sad looking wins for the year list

Would this be classed as sub-letting to the mouse 🤣 Hope you’re charging it rent.
