Activation of NOW Broadband and TV ...now i do not have working landline nor TV

If your broadband is working then you have a working telephone line as this is how NOW will be delivering the service.

Your phone should be plugged into the phone socket.  Was it plugged in here when you had SKY?

Does your phone need and have power?

Are you able to watch NowTV on your Hitachi yet?

its NOT WORKING... sorry but feel so agitated with this ?  know you're trying to help but am not been listened to..yes i had a working landline phone with Sky...my landline base/phone is DEAD...   and NO still have no NOW Tv as messge on Tv screen password inaccurate

So no dialing tone or no power to the landline base/phone?

Is the message on the TV meaning you cannot connect to the wifi or that you cannot access NOWTV on the Hitachi?

n o power/dialling tone on base or phone...it was working fully last Sunday...
Re the NOW Tv, it recognises the NOW provider but when i input the password, it says on screen unsuccessful connection an try again....!!  Have tried this a dozen times...patience wearing thin...

No power and no daling tone are two different things. If the phone needs power eg to the base unit and doesn't have any then you wont hear any dialing tone. 

Have you asked NOW to reset password?

Can you connect TV via ethernet?

How are you connecting to the internet to post here?

NOW agent asked me for security question...gave them a word - they said no number could be used...
Cannot connect Tv by Ethernet as cable not long enough...when I was with Sky, had to have engineer visit property to install...I told NOW that Engineer had to visit re Sky box etc as the provided cable did not reach TV ...NOW agent did not/would not listen to my comment that I did need Enginner visit and did complete the Accessibility Form on their websit..am being igngored...

It has been unplugged from the mains? The power cable has been pulled out of the base?

I would start with those as possibilities. 

And how are you connecting to the internet to post here?

It sounds as if you have have cordless phones - you mention "phone base". Cordless phones have a base station which plugs into the mains, and then a cord which plugs into the phone "BT" phone socket. You then have 1 or more cordless handsets.

Is this the arrangement that you have?

What is the make/model of the base phone?

When you say 'no power', do you mean there's no electrical connection to it, or do you just mean that there's no dial tone?
