"Seeking debt advice" are the magic words that legally get you the 30 day hold.
Yes you can angrily say how upset you are and ask PALS to step in and cancel it or you will escalate the complaint to the CEO of the NHS Trust.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you, I have sent the PALS letter with the addition of the CEO threat. Just doing the email for 30 day hold.0

As expected…….
The PALS response states that “the car parking operation is under a Private Finance Initiative contract”and their PFI provider is ISS. The car parks are managed on their behalf by CPP with no involvement from the Trust. I need to email visitor.parking@uk.issworld.com if I want to query parking charges.
Is it worth sending an amended email to ISS?
My CPP “seeking debt advice” email had an automatic response saying it could be 10days before they respond.
What should I do next? Wait for the LBC to be actioned or prepare to appeal directly to CPP?
Thank you for your guidance so far

Send the complaint on to ISS.
Surely the 'seeking debt advice' email didn't go to CPP but to whoever sent the LBC (or did CPP send it?).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just checking (I have already made a mess on this thread so apologies if I have again got the wrong end of the stick) - but who are CPP?
"I received a PCN from ParkingEye for not paying the parking fee on exiting a hospital car park......)1 -

In there you will see...
The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust need to adjust their template response.2 -
CPP are owned by Parkingeye and the LBC came from CPP’s legal department.
Should I try again with PALS, or maybe the CEO, highlighting the NHS car parking guidance?
I suspect ISS will just pass the complaint on to CPP and it’s not exactly complimentary. Could it prejudice
a”last gasp” appeal directly to CPP/Parkingeye?2 -
A complaint (to all of the above) won't prejudice an appeal, quite the opposite. CCP / PE like to keep big clients sweet.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Will get on it tomorrow. It’s all very time consuming so the moral support is very welcome.0

No surprise, the hospital CEO passed the complaint back to PALS who have forwarded to ISS. Quoting the NHS Car parking guidance made no difference. Does anyone actually read these complaints?
No reply from ISS, should I request an SAR from CPP and make that “last gasp” request to get the PCN cancelled, or wait until the 30day extension for debt advice is nearly over?0
