Did you use the blue template appeal with no additions, deletions or alterations?

Yes exactly as it was. Looked at a few other threads and that was their advice to use it as it was no alterations regardless

Nearly a year on I’ve had the following message on the 5/6/24. What should I do in this situation? The fine is £170 there’s a part of me that just wants to pay it and be done but the principle of the whole situation is stopping me

I know it's a text message, but treat it as you would any debt collector's letter.

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread
explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.

Please show us the word "fine" anywhere in any of the correspondence or text messages and I'll pay it for you.

I think it is time for you to go back and re-read the Newbies/FAQ thread and defamiliarise yourself with how these things progress.

For your own sanity and peace of mind, why not simply block that debt collector on your phone and never have to worry about anything from the useless vermin, ever again. At least not via text message.

    Ignore it.  :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

    Update

ive received numerous “last chance letters” to pay the fine, I have ignored as advised. The latest letter I have received is a terminal notice pre legal action. It states if I don’t call they are treating it as an active choice to undertake legal proceedings.

Do I carry on ignoring them?
