Good morning.
Cats weren't happy with me this morning as it was flea treatment time. But I hate those critters and need to keep them in check.
Started a gardening journal for next year. I have gardening year planners etc and other gardening books but they all contain so much info that is overwhelming. So over the winter I'll make a list of the plants and veg I actually grow and write down that specific information and plan for the year. I would like to definitely grow more of what we eat but in a more efficient and more enjoyable manner.
Did some more painting yesterday but the finishing deadline moved again as I now also gave the skirting boards in DD's room a lick of paint (they looked so manky against the fresh paint) and realised the brown window frame between the wall and the actual window doesn't look good either.
Hopefully another NSD and more painting after work. Might even cook dinner tonight. Last night it was everyone for themselves as I couldn't be bothered.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/2511 -
My shiny new stick arrived today.
I am SO pleased with it.

Evening turtles
Up early with a sore back again, can't wait for this flare up to go away! Did some yoga first thing to try and compensate. Worked from home for a bit then went to a visit, came back home again for the afternoon and tackled a massive frog. Got a load of washing done and dried in the garden.
Cancelled a new sim deal recommended through the weekly MSE email as it hasn't turned up twice now and it's been the best part of a month, so I just called it quits and decided to stay put. The customer service wasn't great and they kept trying to upsell me even though I hadn't received the thing!
Went to the gym after work and that's about it!
Have been thinking about some goals for the next year, I want to do some study and potentially a once in a lifetime trip, so I've decided I need to really knuckle down, keep doing overtime and rein in the spending so that I can hopefully achieve both, all being well.8 -
NSD 8 today,This morning I realised the darling man gp I saw last month, and asked for a different form of HRT, decided to half my dose, how jolly kind of him! Did he think I would not notice? Well guess again Sunshine!Anyway didn't realise in time, so am back on the original one since yesterday, so will stick with that for the next 3 months until I run out, and then ask to try the other one but at the right dose this time. I really do not like doctors. I know he was probably trying to be helpful, but honestly! I think that might explain my bad mood and indecisiveness. It can't all be 'back to school blues' and no-holiday-disappointment.All food from stores today, lovely hm pizza for lunch with passion fruit mocktail smoothies. This time next week the in-laws descend, and I will be no doubt be awash in a wave of disapproval, and putting up with their gushing approval of random 'not-my-family'-members. It is rather stressful trying to remember what I am not supposed to mention to them. Ho-tiddly-Hum, it is only for 5 days. I can cope with that.So glad about your news @Toni'sfriend4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

'Me' day went well. Washed my face gently, then had a shower using a new soap (cs purchase at the back of a drawer) and a clean flannel. Cleaned two of the grab rails until I started to feel chilly then towelled myself gently. (old flannel and bathmat thrown down, later added to WM and set off).
Lay on the bed for about an hour doing gentle exercises. Can't get my legs up against the wall but used a fairly steep slope of pillows, Didn't do the body scan but thought about each part of my body in turn and tightened and released muscles. Did quite a lot of leg raises on my back and on my side. Let myself 'float' - imagined clouds inside my head but didn't pin 'thoughts' onto them, just enjoyed them floating about being fluffy. When I finished I got up slowly and carefully.
Put antiseptic cream where needed, ibuprofen gel on my knees to make them less creaky, used some face sun cream (thick and creamy) and body lotion everywhere else. Lunch was fridge raid bits and pieces, tea was sweet potato fries and a piece of white fish (rather than takeaway). I've been craving chocolate but kept persuading myself to wait (I'm not hungry, may be bored) and think I can now manage to go to sleep without (it means a trip out to the corner shop).
Read books, started new rubbish/ recycling bags (black bin has been collected so back to proper bin bags until we start running out of space) and boxed up some things. Grateful for taking things slowly, time to reflect, using things I had to substitute for things that i 'wanted'.8 -
Glad you love you new stick @beanielou, you'll be very glam when you're stepping out 😃
Woke DS1&3, then did yoga - first time in weeks. Put yesterday's washing on the airer, then did all the other bits I needed to do. So a good start to the day. Work involved lots of running, so didn't have to do my 20mins of moving for #75soft. Quite tiring though!
Just about to start making tea, when DH messaged that he was allowed to COME HOME 😃😃😃 He was eating at the hospital, so I quickly cooked ours, shovelled it in my mouth & drove to town to collect him.
Had a quick nap, washed the dishes, then finished shortening the sleeves on a blazer for someone. Glad to get it done, though only remembered at the last minute about the 4 buttons! Played an online game for half an hour. Off to bed now.
Grateful for DH coming home, doing some yoga, my leftovers concocted lunch was actually quite tasty!Use it up, wear it out

Oh & also grateful that I realised in time that I needed to use the diesel pump to fill up my car, not try to continue ramming the petrol hose into the hole! Would've been a very costly mistake!! 🤯Use it up, wear it out

Great news, Thrifty Taylor.
Bedding changed, washing all done (at least for the moment) and some other bits and pieces. Had a massive clear out of drawers in the bedroom to make more room. Where does it all come from? A bit of progress anyway.
Got tired around lunch time so Himself made me a salad and I spent the afternoon watching a series on catch up whilst making some lists and doing a bit of planning. Himself made dinner as well. He does a really nice jacket potato.
Today I think i shall attack the bathroom cupboard and dispose of what is cluttering that up.
Have a nice day. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10
