Great news @Toni's Friend. Having a back-up plan really helps though sometimes you feel like you need Plan C and Plan D too, like I do.9

Congratulations on your amazing news @Toni'sfriend! Hope you get to enjoy a break away soon.
Woke up early because of my back, so got up and did some pilates and some yoga. Planned to cycle to work and was determined to stick to it, am glad I did as felt much better by the time I got there. Movement is often the best medicine for my back but have to push myself
Busy day at work, did buy a coffee (oops) and also donated to someone's retirement gift.
Cycled back home, had a bath and prepped for tomorrow and now dinner!9 -
Yes Toni'sfriend it's wonderful news, just what we all needed (totally not selfish - we can all share in your joy, you brighten our day and bring hope to us all).
abundant I'm actually on the cusp of Capricorn/ Aquarius - so if you imagine an accountant with the soul of a hippie flower child/ artist, that's me.
Went to the library, stocked up with more large print books and several craft books (embroidery/ quilting/ patchwork). I found a lovely soap whilst I was packing away all the new pills and I have the lovely body lotion so didn't buy anything else - it'll have to be oatmeal scrubs and things from the cupboard if I need anything. Had a mood dip (think that's because I was 12 hours late getting my pills) and had a mid afternoon energy slump (plus ankle was throbbing) so came back upstairs.
Grateful for chips and gravy leftovers from DS3 (I'd had a rm but I was nearly drooling as he ate his sausage and chips but wasn't going to beg), quite enjoying a rm that wouldn't be my first pick- limited choices, feeling comfortable (lots of motivational stuff read through)8 -
That's excellent news @Toni'sfriend! Enjoy your sleep tonight.
I've had a good day.
Spent most of my work day on a helpful training course.
Sold 3 items on VintD... that's 3 less things cluttering the house! And some extra pennies for DS's 'growth fund'. He's growing out of everything at the moment... shoes, clothes, and interests… holding Mum’s hand 😢
Excited by the closeness of our holiday I had a wee browse on VintD for myself and bought 2 childish t-shirts (one with big ears and one that tinkles). In total they cost £10 with postage which I’m quite happy about. I know a Duzney T-shirts dinnae cost a fiver.
On my lunch break I went to the gym for a free training plan with one of the trainers. I've now got a plan I can do within my lunchtime that'll get me moving and working out some of those knots from sitting hunched at the laptop. I also got a call from the gym to say that a space had become available for the evening body balance class. Went to it and enjoyed it. I think I’ll make this a weekly thing.
Grateful today for getting a free training plan made, for getting a cancelled space on the class, for OH making dinner, and for feeling very chilled this evening.

Great news, Toni'sfriend! Sleep well! And you too, DrCarrie! Bet you don't sleep well, with that buzzing round your head.Today I am grateful for a quiet day, for seeing the Dr with dc and getting good advice, for seeing big sis + niece again, for laundry drying outside, for both our visiting cats being around at the same time.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!9

Whoop whoop @Toni'sfriend & @DrCarrie! Such great news for you both, the world us your oyster 😍 enjoy your bright futures! 😃

Washing hung out before breakfast. Managed to gobble my breakfast down in the shorter timespan before I left for work. Knew I had a late lunch, so didn't want to go hungry!
Work went well, it's such a long time since I was entertaining 4&5 year olds, a big difference from my last few years! Teacher very appreciative if my help & think all the kids enjoyed their first day back.
Made salsa & used up other bits out the fridge to go in wraps, for tea. Very tasty 😋
Phoned DH whilst I did the dishes, he's having a chest scan tomorrow to see if the ling inflammation is the start of something else. If all ok, he should be able to come home 🤞
Thought about doing sewing, & putting the clothes on the airer, but I played a game on my phone, then had a soak in the bath. Must try harder to get things done tomorrow night!
Grateful for a good day at work, a colleague giving me a lovely handbag, nice messages from friendsUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Thank you all so much for your good wishes. I'm not of the woods just yet but yesterday was such a boost. More so because I wasn't expecting it. I confess I was (am) a bit worried about the lung thing but she indicated that if something does need to be done it's very treatable. Putting that to the back of my mind for the time being.
Well done, Dr Carrie. I bet you're just so excited.
Hope all goes well with Mr T T's scan, Thrifty Taylor.
Abundant - I think one of the worst things for me mentally over the last nine months was that I couldn't plan and didn't have the will to do so. I need to have something to look forward to and to know how I'm going to achieve it. Without that everything seemed to be out of my control which it was to a certain extent. So, I would say decide what you want and make plan A and B (and C, D and E if you have to)
So first load of washing done. Lots I want to try to achieve today so better get on. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9
