Wait...Suma competition? Where is that?
I was going to recommend Faith in Nature, but I see that the fans have already spoken. We use their body wash, handwash, conditioner and shampoo even!Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0 -
Its on the competitions board, not sure how to link to it, but it is a competion in a sourthwest paper, but also on the web. Should find it by searching Suma in text would think, is for £250 of products.0

I can recommend Lavera products, you can buy them online. I have very sensitive eyes, plus I wear contact lenses, and the mascara is excellent. If you dont want to buy online I think Lavera have a list of stockists on their website (use .co.uk).0 -
I'm getting ready to try some mineral makeup. It's supposed to be good for sensitive skin. I haven't decided which brand to try yet, but there's a thread about it here on MSE somewhere.
Origins is great for sensitive skin as well. My mom had all sorts of trouble with flakes and acne, but she uses their stuff with success. I know you can find them at Debenhams; not sure where else.Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0 -
After reading this I have just bought some shampoos and stuff from the Green people and am looking forward to receiving them.
My husband has just gone and got his soap from his bathroom, Wrights Coal Tar soap ( a real boys soap), and it doesn't seem to have any of the naughty chemicals in. The label does say that it is a natural soap made from the same recipe for years - seems like it is true!

PS have used Bare Escentuals mineral makeup and it works really well - beware of the cheaper ones as they are not genuinely mineral. I bought mine in America but you can get it from QVC and the starter kits are really good value.NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -
Many bar soaps are SLS free. I know simple brand soap doesn't contain it. SLS is normally used in liquid products, like shower gels and shampoo.0

we are currently using a mix of burtsbees and weleda products, more expensive than others but seem to very good.0

I use 'Halo's and Horns' Bodywash on my Children as it is free from SLS, Parabens and other Chemicals........I have started using it on myself too
as it smells so nice
. It doesn't cost too much either, can't remember exactly how much (£2 something). I buy mine from Tesco, you can find it in the baby toiletries aisle.
