Evening girlies,
YL Huge congratulations to your son, I am delighted for him (and you) xxx
Day three of the summer holidays and the juggle is driving me round the bend already. Somehow I was coerced into working late tomorrow night, which will cause me no end of juggling and end up in 12 hour day, so someone else can stay at home with their child!! Such a busy day I didn't really get time to digest properly, so have just sent a terse Whatsapp now making it clear that cannot happen and I am leaving at normal time!!
Pouring with rain here but I am happy with that. I need to go and re-make DDs bed ahead of her coming home tomorrow, and consider doing some cleaning - this place is a tip. Hugs to all xx7 -
Morning all
Have realised that the discomfort in my right arm is probably nothing to do with surgery/lymph nodes and everything to do with knitting.🤣 Still going to finish my jumper today, though.
in bed with a coffee so i’m happy.

Hi all
Thank you so much for your lovely words about DS. You have no idea how much it means.
Woke up yesterday feeling rubbish and feel worse today so have called in sick and having a duvet day. Hoping it's just a short term bug.
I was doing well with flying up to yesterday so the house doesnt look too bad. It is raining yet again though so washing is over the airer with the dehumidifier going.
Back to my book. Well done for sticking up for yourself ASB x and hope your Dad is OK Kaz x

Evening!
I flew yesterday when I got in and did the kitchen. DH had kindly brought a huge true of blackcurrants for me so I spent the rest of the evening prepping them for jam.
Full day at work today and DD kindly cooked dinner but she leaves the kitchen looking like a war zone. Cleaned again and I am now making the jam which is exactly what I was doing on this day 7 years ago according to FB!Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!5 -
Adjusted weekly payments for mortgage, water, utilities and trying to squueze an extra few quids out of the budget so we can afford to eat this month.. OH got about £300 less this month that is most of the food budget.. I had to find that last month too and the car is due MOT on 23rd.. but will have to be done early because we are on holiday. So doctors have 2 GP's and a horrid rude woman to prescribe basic stuff for 10000 patients.. so I can't get an appointment. I took Pixie for her check this morning.. all is perfect.. and I look so unwell the nurse put the O2 monitor on me.. 95% standing still and 90% or less if I move or speak.. so she went to reception and demanded an appointment.. that is how you get an appointment. haha. I'veactually felt ok but I feel awful today but maybe lack of sleep as well, I eventualy managed to sleep for a couple of hours sitting upright in bed.
collected a couple of shirt for Squeak and dropped off some PE tops and one jumper..I didn't know they wanted revision guides I have so many! we may be taking a drive back later!
I may need a trundle into he schoolwear shop to grab a couple of jumpers and size up the Pe kit
