Moto G31 - move to Android 12?

That's a bit late. My cheap and cheerful Poco (Xiaomi) phone updated to Android 13 ages ago!

I regrettably have a G31 but haven't yet upgraded to android 12 due to the widespread issues with performance and battery life. Has anyone here upgraded? Any problems?

mine upgraded around two weeks ago, still works OK, no battery or performance issues, either before the upgrade or since.

Not sure what benefit there is in the upgrade or how its going to enhance my use of the phone though

Performance seems fine.

One or two little foibles, but that's what upgrades are all about, just to confuse the users!

Battery life not as good, but I used to get to bed time with about 60% and now it's often under 50%, so no real issues.

That irritating top button on the side (was it OK Google or something?), I'm delighted to say has been disabled.

Otherwise, can't think of anything much different.

That annoying button! If only Lenovo had made it customisable then it would have been a genuinely useful feature.
