Paras 7, 8 and 9 refer to wrong exhibit (should be 4 not 3 etc.)

In fact not all the numbers in WS main body, "Table of Contents" and Exhibits appear to be the same  -  please check

I had an almost identical letter from a different legal scam firm. Their "strong case" which they dropped a week before the court hearing. Ignore it, it's sent to everyone and another standard doc where the name is changed at the header, and dished out as part of the scaring process.

Hi everyone,

Today was my day in court and despite the VCS solicitor asking me to agree to pay £185 per PCN just before we went in because she had a very strong case against me (that would mean me paying all her costs,) I kindly declined and went on to WIN!!

Both cases were dismissed, at one point there solicitor wanted to ask me questions so I had to go into the witness box where I defended myself.

The judge said my witness statement was more detailed than there’s and that basically she believed in my version of events.

Thank you all so so much for everything I never in a million years thought I could do this and would not have been able to do it without your help and support.

A huge thank you to @Coupon-mad you are quite simply amazing and I hope you are aware of the confidence you give people to go head to head with these scammers.

90% of it is about giving people confidence, 10% about focussing on your strongest points and walking you through what to do when and what to put. So glad we gave you the tools you needed to succeed.

This is fantastic news!  Your story is shocking.

You had a previous old CCJ where bailiffs and Channel 5 turned up and ripped £1000 from you.

And re these 2 additional CCJs, even after setting them aside you were wondering whether to accept a payment plan and worried about affording it if you lost.  Now look at you - empowered!

She pretty much lied to you about her costs. You don't get ordered to pay her costs at all even if you lose.  Small claims doesn't cover extra costs like that unless you were deemed to have acted wholly unreasonably (such as not turning up).  But you took a deep breath and turned up and yiu won!

This is what your case was about:

Myself and a number of tenants / homeowners did not receive the permits and were issued with tickets despite notes in our cars. 

Which point won it?  The fact they didn't make  a permit available then 'fined' you for not having one, making the alleged contract impossible to perform?

Or was it the unclear signs?

Cause of action estoppel (they'd already got one judgment and £1000 off you years ago, and these further claims were an abuse of the court process?).

Did you ask the Judge for your costs for attending today? Loss of a day's work/leave? Childcare costs for today?

Did you ever get your fees back for the two CCJ set aside applications or did you not have to pay fees?

@Coupon-mad today it was dismissed based on that by withholding permits from some residents, VCS made their own alleged contract void for impossibility.

VCS tried to basically say I was lying and most likely lost the permit  but the Judge believed me.

I very nearly didn’t bother from the beginning as I thought way too much time had passed.

I just wish I had known of this forum all those years ago before channel 5 bully’s turned up. But that’s the past now. I now have a clean report and can put all this behind me.

No fees or costs as I get help due to a low salary. It’s half term holidays so my baby went to my mum”s and eldest went to friends.
