My pets had puppies last year (unplanned) and I sold/rehomed the puppies.
mum and dad have papers but I did not kc reg the puppies.

one person bought a puppy and asked to pay me in installments as after committing to buy the pup they was out of work.

I trusted they would pay due to seeming like a nice family with children. Over the course of 4 months I was paid most of the money.

In March (after having the puppy for 4 months) I was asked for my bank details to make the last payment of £25  so I sent over my details (same as used for previous payments) however however a final payment of £25 was never made.

two months later I am receiving messages saying they want to pay the remaining £25 and wants kc reg papers because they want to breed the puppy and if I don’t provide the papers they will report me or wants half of what they paid back.

I don’t know where I stand with this as they still haven’t paid the agreed amount in full yet is now sending threatening and demanding messages to me for papers or a refund.

what can I do about this as I am genuinely scared of this person now as they know where I live etc

Thanks for taking the time to read/respond.
Report you to who for what? They sound like prize ding-dongs. If you want an easy life just ignore them, if you want to press it further remind them they owe you £25 and ask when they intend to pay it.
They said they will report me to the Kennel club for selling puppies and not registering them.

I am just more bothered about the threatening messages and the demanding money from me. I could just always block the numbers I suppose.
What would be the consequence of that?  I'm asking because I genuinely don't know.  Are you intending to do authorised breeding in the future?  Might they blacklist you?

Just block the numbers.  If you get a letter before action by post, threatening to take you to court, come back for advice.
Both my dogs are now neutered/spayed as the puppies were accidental we failed to keep them separated during my girls season so I will not be breeding them again.
I am just feeling anxious over the threats and them knowing where I live with my children.

What's the nature of these threats?  Legal threats, or more sinister?  If the latter, report them to the police.

Did you advertise/sell the pups as KC registered?
No I just stated the parents were
That sounds a bit wishy-washy to me.

"Both parents KC registered" in the advert sort of implies that the pups would be.

I'm not an expert on puppy breeding or KC but in plain language it doesn't really imply anything of the sort. If the buyer wanted to know if the puppies were registered they should have asked.

Depends on how much the pups were sold for, compared to KC registered ones.

Although I agree with previous poster, why mention KC parents & not register the pups. If that was the intention, then it would have been better to make that clear.

The threats are a bit of both really. I think I will just report to the police in case anything suddenly happens to my property or car as you just never know what people are capable of

I understand what you mean, I was simply implying my two pets are registered and therefore from a good line of dogs, not mongrels/from a puppy farm etc

It sounds like they were sold very cheaply, compared to a pedigree (KC registered) pup - if we're talking four months and monthly payments of £25

    Did OP chip the pups?

The statement doesn't imply anything.  It is a simple statement of fact.
