Morning all,
You and me both, Piggers.
Up and ready to go (relatively) early this morning as I had volunteered to drive DD to riding. Managed to guilt trip DH into going, so that was a result. As a consequence, I have made some rhubarb jam (think I reduced it too much as only have 4 jars), speed vacuumed most of the house (started as just picking up the mud that had dropped from DD’s boots, but got carried away), sorted out a load of washing, got seafood for dinner out to defrost and done QHI. Been into the gh to check on the sad tomato plants while the wind wasn’t too strong.I need to sort out 3 x birthday cards, but I much prefer getting distracted by the dressmaking. Trousers finished yesterday, top to start today, which is using material bought years ago and a pattern similarly bought but never used. I’m looking on it all as stash busting, therefore a very good use of my time. It is however mainly so that I can buy more material…6 -
All pots, pans, and recycling WULTD
Both loads of washing were pegged out and will be brought in before I settle down to watch the tennis.

all ironing done and I've managed to get the washing dry between showers and ironed that. Stuff shifted out of office as it transofrms into 'guest bedroom' this week.

Hello ladies
I haven’t stopped all day yet the house looks no better. DS dropped a brand new light fitting I have treated myself to and smashed it. I’d told him not to touch… I lost my shizzle I’m ashamed to say. I know it’s an accident and can be replaced etc but I just wish he’d listen to me.They then both went on the field in their trainers but some unknown reason, and DD wore her last remaining pair of school trousers. All are now filthy. They KNOW they have to wear wellies outside. And breathe. The dogs are napping, the TD is on and the wind is howling. I may just pour wine and pretend to not have to adult for the evening x8 -
ASB.. Children are prone to setting our last nerve on fire.. we all lose our cool once in a while.. by while I mean every 5 minutes lol.. It is so annoying when they don't listen and end up breaking things.. tbh, I am a fabulous liar and would package it up and send it back and say it arrived broken.. which wouldn't necessarily work if it is from a real live shop.. I don't go to those so in my head everyone gets everything delivered lol.. assuming I read correctly and it is the new one which is broken?I am playing at Doc McStuffins and sewing up an injured dragon and because I am lazy I am handsewing many items of clothing.. I will get ahead of this mending pile.. blooming Frog that it is!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6

Hi Piggers, I must admit it has crossed my mind! Yes it's the new one. It was delivered, and no bubble wrap in sight. Plus I think the store in question can absorb the loss...
WM on again, HG strawberries ready for pudding and wine poured.... xx6 -

Right.. pack ups and dinner.. OH can scrub Twinkle.
Pixie looks like she had been beaten all weekend.. her legs are black.. and she has swimming with school tomorrow.. I am telling them she is not to do PE but swimming shouldn't be too hard on her joints which are hurting.. she has this... but her kidneys are bad right now, her ankles and knees are very swollen and painful and she is a bruise from her buttocks to her toes.. the rash looks much more severe than these pics. Hopefully she will feel better next week and in less pain because she has dance class summer school.
This came up in an hour and ending up covering her entire lower body within 4 hours.. it is now just a huge grey bruise.

I have had a lovely day with DGS. He was such a good boy and so funny. At 3 he knew he wanted to go to Costa for lunch and knew exactly what he wanted. Then he helped with the shopping list for both me and mummy. Couldn't read the words but could remember everything on mummy's list. We made yoghurt lollies when we got back and she sent a picture of him enjoying it after his tea.
Really feel for DS, they had another set back today. They are already one car down as DIL's died and they are borrowing one until they can get their remortgage sorted then get a loan for a new one. On the way home from work DS got rear ended in his and so his is off the road too. Unfortunately a car had stopped to turn right, cars 2 & 3 stopped, car 4 hit car 3, he was car 5 and stopped, car 6 hit him although tried to avoid and ended up alongside him, car 7 stopped. He looked across at the driver in car 6 and he said he could see what she was going to do, she sped off without stopping and getting out. Luckily car 7 gave him details as a witness and he managed to get the registration number so fingers crossed his colleagues will be able to track them and deal with it as he is not allowed to get involved. He is just done at the moment and he said he's just is not looking forward to his birthday as it just means nothing with so many things going on. No matter how big they get they are always your babies and you hurt when they do and I wish I could do something to help.
The kitchen was a disaster when I came in but DD had cleaned it all up by the time I wanted to cook dinner, or so I thought until I realised she had thrown it all in the DW. To say loaded the DW would be stretching it so after dinner, I had to load it properly and put the dinner things in to put it on. That is the extent of the flying today.
DH has started bringing things down to go in the caravan which we are away in tomorrow. There will be some cleaning to do there next week for sure!
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!6
