Washing pegged out earlier...and careful eye being kept on the weather.
P&S have been and gone - taking two bags of books to drop off at cs for me.
Another Christmas present received. And a November birthday present, plus a pack of birthday cards to be delivered today.
I'm going to dry the pots and recycle the washed plastics next.

Thanks for the threadIve just sat down to catch up and found Ive done most of Mondays listsMy kitchen has been a work in progress most of this year tbh but now its all done. I had done most of the cupboards inside out bar the top baking ingredients cupboard and the ones above and below the oven - full of greasy baking wares. So all hoiked out, sorted - cleaned and put back, dumped, or charity . Then we did the sideboard, lots more for the charity shop and now I have one empty cupboard and two empty drawers, happy bunny
Oven didnt need cleaning as Ive not used it since last year and it just stores baking sheets. Actually I forgot how it worked and took me ages to figure it out ( put it on to ensure baking tins were really dry ) Floors and furniture vacuumed and the floor cleaned
No washing today - its teeming down and theres nothing really urgent. The ironing pile is a lot less as I sorted that last week and put away everything that didnt need ironingI vacuumed throughout yesterday and polished all the surfaces so nothing needs doing as such, Im about to go make the bed and pick up the shoes and bits that are lying about and thats the extent of it todayBathroom is still waiting the deep clean - Thursday is ear marked for that as Im working a couple of shifts . I did mums bathroom on Saturday and the "family bathroom " which no one uses just got its usual flick about and the taps run a while to clear the traps out of stagnant water. I'll give it a polish up next week as we have guests coming and that will be for their use. Its handy having separate bathrooms but a PITA having to clean them all!7 -
Did zumba

Well today was weird.
OH decided to tidy the shed.. it is 10ft x 20 ft.. so more a barn than a shed.. We have a mountain on the lawn to go to the tip, filled a wheelie bin with general detritus. I have about 25 tins of paint to drop at the tip and my paint pile is reduced by about 2/3rds. I have 4 crates of books and about 600 plastic ball pit balls, 7 marmalade jars, 25 Gu glass dishes (from about 1000 years ago) and 30 coffee jars.. Everything needs dragging out again tomorrow so we can put it back in neat and tidy and actually have a useful and functional space alongside some storage space for regular shed gubbins.
2 loads of laundry folded.. I am headin gup to put that away now.My feet are so painful and my stomach hates me.We did get the puncture repaired too.. £15 so not too awful.
I have pack ups done and we even remembered the tooth fairy duty!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -
Morning allThe sky’s awake, so I’m awake….
Thank you for the thread xx
I was up at half four thanks to a really noisy bird! So far I have fed all of the animals, taken puppy for a run on the field and unloaded the DW. Cuppa brewing.Last night I finally ordered a mirror for the bathroom, it’s only been on the To Do list for a year and took me all of 10 minutes to choose and order….Today I want to finalise my tax return, and cancel an insurance policy. Hopefully the refund from the latter will cover the cost of the former! I am working 9-3, need to pick up some chain saw oil whilst I am out, also pop into Lidl.Easy shepherds pie from the freezer for tea.
I hope you all have lovely days xx8 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok. Thanks for the list.
Hardly any flying has been done here as it's been a social whirl and looking after toddlers weekend.
Today I must fly and shall report back later although we are out again tonight for birthday.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning all. I was up making tea while asb was posting.
Jazee, enjoy being a socialite!
So far I have
- written an email
- checked finances
- responded to messages from 2 friends
- walked Rosie before the thunderstorms take over
- opened curtains and PUPA in the LR
- swapped the contents of a new box of tissues from a box with a design that I don't like into the empty box which I do like - anybody else as fussy bonkers as me????
Still on the list:
- breakfast (DH is preparing it now)
- shower and dress
- if time, do a small amount of mending
- go to help my op friend put on her surgical stockings
- go to breast screening and request politely that this time they do not hang me by my boobs from the xray machine with it set so high that I was on tiptoes, as they did on the last occasion - it was very painful!
- cook our main meal at lunchtime
- bake cakes
- sleep for an hour or two (migraine still chuntering a bit)
- drive into the big city with DH, find a parking space and settle down for an evening with the Welsh National Opera.
ETA: I am going completely mad - the trip to the theatre is tomorrow evening!!! Might have time to do some proper flying, then!
