    Morning guys,

As suggested on this thread, I reached out to my landlord (agent) once again, see my email and their response in attachment.

Their response seems positive, at least much better than my previous conversations with them few years ago.

My worry is that, if I reply stating that “I had simply forgotten to display the permit on those two occasions”, they would say that’s not “unfair grounds”.

Is there anything further I can add to convince my landlord that may sway them to reach out to UKCPM with request to cancel both tickets?

Sorry forgot attach on previous post…

Nice, wonder how they will respond to that

    This was their (landlord) response:

Is there anything further (in addition to my initial email), I can add to convince my landlord that may sway them to reach out to UKCPM with request to cancel both tickets?

You need to point out that THEY are jointly liable for the actions of THEIR agents. They engaged them, they are responsible and there can be NO VALID reason why any ticket should be issued to you because you already have the right to park. Tell them to stop ducking the issues, it's their problem, they are in breach of the contract (AST) that you have with them. Cancel it or you will SUE them.

Be robust - you have to make the pain coming from you exceed the pain coming from paying the PPC's cancellation fee (yes, that's why they try to fob you off, they have to pay).

Yes - but just answer the MA's question:

These unfair PCNs were issued because it seems the predatory ticketer was after a £15 bounty that UKCPM advertise, encouraging PCNs.  They were issued under excuse that the ticketer supposedly "couldn't see the permit" but the photos were taken at skewed angles and in 2 minutes flat, which breaches the IPC Code of Practice which requires at least a minimum 5 mins grace period (e.g. to read signs but also to allow time to fetch a permit from a flat to display on whichever car needs it).

Say that you appreciate their help, and you also appreciate that your tenancy agreement is between you and your landlord, so whether UKCPM agree to cancel the PCNs or not, you require a copy of (link to, if easier) the Head Lease so you can review the overarching rights relating to the residents. This will be needed if ex-clampers UKCPM decide to sue residents (which is their usual MO after targeting them) so you'd like a copy of the Head Lease for evidence now to help you fight these predatory PCNs. Many thanks in advance,

    ...

DO NOT suggest the permit wasn't displayed.  Go and edit your earlier posts.

Can you see the little cog wheel top right on your post? click on it if you can. Otherwise keep posting until it appears - you need to have made enough posts to be allowed to edit.

Three more posts on any MSE board should do it, I think, as you are on 17 posts now.
