Hi
Weigh day -5lbs please Brambling.
Calories have been counted, carbs much reduced and intermittent fasting commenced. Hopefully got all angles covered. Managed some gentle daily exercise too. This week I’m confident I can continue with my new plan. It’s different to last time I did all the tracking so i will not get bored before I’ve barely started.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

My weigh day is going to be tomorrow- I don't think that I've done well at all (I've definitely not stuck to the programme! ) but some of that is down to not seeing any real change on the scales even when I'd cut out drinking and, as a result, over 1000 calories a day.....😔
So, I've just bought some scales which give you all sorts of body metrics; fat %, visceral fat, metabolic age, bmi etc so I'm hoping that even if the weight doesn't move very much I'll see changes in other aspects that will help to motivate me and spur me on to making further changes 😉DNF: £708.92/£1000

So, the weigh in on the new scales has given me a 1lb gain! 🤦♀️ My usual scales have me at an sts but as I'll be using the new scales from now on, I'll just accept the gain 😔😂
I've done full measurements today, they are quite scary but at least I know where I stand and now that I have all the body fat information I have a lot more metrics to use to mark my progress (or lack of it! 😳🤣)DNF: £708.92/£1000

Hello Monday! Feeling motivated this week (so far!). The sun is out, hurray!
My missions this week are to do daily yoga, complete a Joe Wicks 7 day workout plan, and keep within my calorie budget. No booze, two litres of water a day. And get outside walking! And run, although it's really warm so might have to leave it til later in the eves. Fingers crossed the scales will go down by Friday 🤞
Hope you all have a good week :-)2 -
Hi everyone sorry came back Friday but have been remiss on catching up and facing the scales
that may wait until next Wednesday, I'll see what I feel like this week 🫣 I have been good since Saturday morning and my SM shop was very healthy to avoid evening snacking, which was avoided when I was away because my sister doesn't eat after dinner, although she also seems to take a vegetable break whilst on holiday (she usually eats 3 or 4 with dinner w dry night). Some of my evening snacking relates to living alone so I've been sitting on my hands rather than fridge raiding
I'm still on annual leave and seem to have picked up the good weather of the summer, last week it rained twice just showers before first thing so it was a week spent in tee shirts with the heavier clothes I expected to wear in Northumberland weren't needed 🙂
I'll up date the chart now, please shout if I miss anyone and have a good weekLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2 -
