For anyone thinking of trying Kroo bank

    I got my money (cash) from TopCashBack. I never even saw the offer of a £10 Amazon voucher, not that I would have wanted it.

    my 60 days is due soon,  but as far as i am aware Kroo should have informed the voucher company within that timeframe
    i guess if you not received it,  put in a complaint.   
    that's what i will do if mine doesn't come.
  • just to update,  Kroo never gave me my £10 voucher either via the MSE link.
    i have tried contacting them about it,  they gave very vague responses.   now they are just ignoring me.
    for anyone thinking of trying them out,  i wouldn't bother,   terrible experience with them start to finish.
  • I also signed up via the link and as yet have not had the voucher, with the tracker thing suggesting that Kroo haven't confirmed I've opened the account.  I've sent an enquiry today. 

    However, I'm treating the account as an easy access spending account that pays 4.35% anyway, as well fee free overseas spending so it's useful to have anyway.

  • Same here, also haven't received the £10 Amazon voucher and status shows it's still awaiting Kroo to confirm I signed up. No reply to my email to them so have tweeted both MSE and Kroo to see if that gees them up a bit.
  • Kroo keeps stopping me from making payments to my own savings/current accounts with other banks. It also cannot make payments to building societies because Kroo cannot support what it calls "Confirmation of Payee - secondary reference data (SRD)" I called the Building Society in question and they said you should just click send anyway not doing the name check, but Kroo doesn't let you do that, as the payment set up next screen just doesn't load when you press confirm and you get a permanently blank screen. Its very poor service from Kroo

    Update - Having had no response from Customer Service I contacted complaints@kroo.com - they have said they'll credit my bank account with £10 and I should still get my Amazon voucher once they get round to resolving their communication delays with Giftcloud
