just when i thought the side effects had been beaten…im a bit sore.
recycling bin ransacked. important receipt found. refilled and more added and now out. And that, dear fly friends, is why you should always wash your recycling 🤣 because bin diving in clean rubbish is actually not the most unpleasant job. Plus the receipt and bill are merely a bit crumpled and no one will ever know i threw such an important bit of paper (work related) away.

WUALTD.
Counted knitting projects actually on the go… yellow cardi needs left front. Made a start, realised half way up i had done a second right front. Pulled it back. Gave up.
Dark pink cardi. All pieces knitted. Half sewn up.
Light pink cardi. Back started. Have decided to finish ^^ first
Cot blanket … body knitted. Good progress on border but i need a good light as I need to follow pattern closely.
Wool bought for two more adult projects today, one of which will be a quick knit. Need huge aran needle and some stitch markers. And a circular needle and a video of how to knit on a circular needle…and a pair of 9mm needles. Already got 10mm courtesy of sis

Morning all, busy here again, hence why I'm often MIA. So sorry to hear about your M-i-L piggers, hope Mr pigpen is ok. Lovely house, Natty, only around an hour away from here. Lovely area. Sorry your having a tough time ASB. Valli, I have a pair of 9mm needles if they are any good to you. Rather old, but hardly used. (Sounds a bit like me!!)
Shearing for the sheep this afternoon. Barn being dug out to have a concrete floor fitted sometime today. Potatoes to put in, so we can have new ones at Christmas. Weeds to pull out of the onion bed. Soft fruit to pick. And instructions for the playmobil farm to find. Just another normal day! I may load the DW again, hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.7 -

Ah, my friend is being cremated tomorrow too Piggers.

Then we shall add thoughts for your friend in there too
chaos reigns supreme in here my house is squalid, my brain is a pack of labradors and I just can't even think straight between his family gaslighting and plain lying and stuff with the girls I am so very done.

So, today I have been to the aged Ps, brought the milk in, took the washing which i found in the washer and washed, fried and ironed. pegged out my washing. ironed, cleaned almost all my bedroom - just a bit left to dust now, and boughtpaint and sugar soap to prep and paint the kitchen.
Went to coop for £6 freezer filler, bought ys fish too, ready for a fish pie. made jelly pots for lunches
I also went to town and bought cards, earrings with my xmas voucher, my favourite cheese from the lovely cheese shop, got a battery put in a watch…and as i don’t wear it a lot pulled out the winder to switch if off until i need it. So i’m now up to 2 working watches and 3 which need new batteries.
Updated financial spreadsheet and photographed the important receipt

Stitched up the third large hole in the seam of Dot brand new leavers hoodie and sent an email of complaint.. I spent £25 on this thing and it is a pile of rubbish. When we got Squeaks they didn't even send hers.. she did end up with 2 but this one of Dots is a mess. their overlocker is clearly malfntioning but they have also used extremely cheap rubbish thread.. thankfully sewing is one of the few things I am reasonably good at so it is not noticable where it has been resewn.
Tomorrow I need to make the middle room vaguely presentable for DD2 and gf to borrow.
