Yay! The old site has been brought back - thankfully I can now get everything done again.
YBS, if you are reading this - please leave things as they are. Your 'new' website looked worse and was confusing to navigate. And that's when it was actually working: before taking into account all the problems with the lack of functionality and inability to login.2 -

Old site worked just fine,I would agree, but look at all the comments on this forum slating companies for their antiquated technology: they don't have a very good app; something doesn't get done until next working day, etc etc.Incidences like this and the TSB debacle show how hard it can be to upgrade technology, but they get slated if they don't.2

Hands up if you think they will stick with the old site...
Oooh. I see we have some hopelessly optimistic souls amongst us!

Financial institution beta tests new IT offering on guinea pigs (sorry - customers) - what could possibly go wrong?

So yesterday 0800 I managed to open then fund new account with them internet saver plus issue 13. All as expected, balance was transferred from another ybs account. All done on new website could see new account in app also, balance correct but obviously not available to withdraw.
When they reverted back, I could see new account but it was still being setup, no balance showing and unable to add funds. I was however able to add two new direct debits to an existing web saver account, functionality not available on the new site. I’d rather the functionality over a new looking site with quicker account openings.0
