My boss does not want me to have operation.

HI Again. thanks for all the replies. unfortunately the opp did not go ahead as my blood sugars were too high. (i'm diabetic ). so after all the stress and strain it caused not just for me but everyone involved, i now have to embark on a programme to lower and control my blood sugars.2

If your boss tries to stop you having the operation next time, prepare a document for him/her to sign stating that they accept full responsibility for any adverse effect from delaying the operation and that they will pay such compensation as may be demanded. That shoud shut them up.

I know they aren't obliged to sign anything, but it might open their eyes to the potential risk they are causing for their employee.
