So it appears Rate 1 is "day". The next question is when does it switch to and from Rate 2 ("night")? You could spot check it at different times during the day/night to see when the number 2 is flashing. Not so easy if it involves going up a ladder! Could you rig up a camera you can remotely view?
I stand to be corrected, but I believe those meters have an external time switch?
Maybe a fuller picture of the meter and associated boxes would help.
It's largely irrelevant for a single rate tariff, but it would be nice to know.

My attempt at answers and adding pics is being met by the error message:

"Message Is X characters to short"

Just to add to the list of things to sort.

    Regards,

    Mike

Just add a bit of text to the message with the picture (like you did before, probably without realising it was required). It might be worth blocking out the meter serial number is well. It is possible for somebody to identify your address from that, if they really wanted to.

The top left device is a rotary timeswitch.  Look at the pointers to see when it changes over.
  • Hi,
could do with a close up of time clock, the pointer at the bottom looks to be about 9.45, so could be a couple of hours out.

Done the text, thanks. I'll see if I can edit out the give away clue.
I hope no-one too voluptuous turns up here. It would finish me off.

Does this separate clock define the day and night periods of the E7 meter?

Is rhis clock adjustable by removing the cover?
    Taken at 13:00 HRS

Yes, but only by your DNO, not you !  That would be illegal tampering.
