    Same here :(

    Absolutely exhausted.

Have not had a holiday this year as we moved and couldn't afford it due to taking on the larger mortgage as well as the fact we are trying to save for our wedding.
Also had health problems that have left me fatigued and with no motivation at all. Just totally drained. :(

I have not yet felt festive and although it was my turn to decorate the tree I couldn't even push myself to do that either. Bah I'm such a miserable cow! :(

I hope next year is better, and certainly that my health improves.

Glad to be off too. Been in this job six months and this is my first week off. So pleased not to have to be anywhere or do anything today. Kids can come and go as they please . Think I'll go back to bed because I can.

I feel like I've worked my bottom off all year in a job I hate (really truly hate) and now that the end is in sight, the debts are almost gone and the I'm a month away from leaving this 'orrible job... I am SHATTERED!

Does anyone else feel like they need a month in bed at the moment?! I wish I was feeling all festive and joyous for Christmas, but I need a few good nights sleep first :o

    Can relate to that.

CONGRATULATIONS ON NEARLY REACHING DEBT FREEDOM:beer:

I think that shows a great sense of responsibility to put yourself out like that and determinedly get shot of debt. Congrats also to those later in thread who have done the same. Pats on back all round time.

I've been in debt myself before now - to the tune of half my years net salary:eek: (little consolation that it wasnt down to me doing consumer spending - but an old wreck of a house needing work RIGHT NOW) - but worked it off with sideline work and moneysaving tips (basically picked up from Old Style Forum).

....and the personal plus side - freedom from debt means greater freedom to give employers the directions to the other side of the road shall we say!

I'm so tired I just feel like sitting here and crying for no good reason. Totally exhausted. Worked 11 hours yesterday, and 9 today... flat out with christmas customers, very few of whom were showing festive spirit. Sick of being chewed out by customers who left the shopping till last minute and are now annoyed we're out of stock.

Have 1 day off - xmas day, and 10 here for dinner. Back to work boxing day, for the sales. Shoot me now.

 Hugs to you softstuff!!! Is there anyone who could take some work off you on your 'one day off'? I assume you're cooking for them all?

Well, this year I wanted a genuine Xmas (last year was prawns and salad), so I took it upon myself to do it. Having said that, I have cheated hugely. Turkey will be ready cooked, gravy is in a tetrapak, and veg is sitting in the freezer saying cook me. I've already iced the xmas cake (made in November), the trifle won't take long and I pre-bought mince pies.

Plus hubby is a gem. Given he's off now till new years he's helping (though some things really aren't his forte... like hot food). This lunchtime at work (I haven't been taking lunch, too pooped to), he arrived with a coolbag full of sandwiches he made for me.

I just need to find me some energy... off to make some new sofa cushions now before bed....
