I am absolutely shattered - was delivering until 11.30 last night - did not get away from work till two o'clock this morning.
Just don't feel 'Christmassy' at all, today.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I'm self employed and the stress of debt has actually pushed me to work harder and in turn ive got more efficient so maybe its all done me a favour. Ive paid 15k in the last 12 months so havnt had a penny for myself, been out a couple of times all year, not bought any clothes except for a few essentials from asda and basically lived a pretty rubbish life. In desperate need of a holiday so will be doing something this year even if just a weekend in Prague or something with the boys.
BCJ, that is a really impressive amount to have paid off over a year, so congratulations. You definitely deserve that holiday - I hope you enjoy every second of it when it comes around!Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!

Someone at work gave me a present this morning wrapped up with a ribbon with a tiny bell on it. I have now tied this to my wrist in order to force a bit of Christmas spirit on myself while I typeProud To Be Dealing With My Debts!

Well, what can I say,
I love being up and about!!
I had to spend the whole of Oct and a bit of Nov in bed; post major surgery. And although everyone did their best to entertain me with DVDs, books and crayons (?!), it was soooooo dull! Plus I love my job and it's great being back! And I love walking to places and not needing lifts for short distances and doing things myself like making tea and doing my washing....!
But I'll give you guys some extra energetic <<hugs>> ; I know I must sound crazy!

Well, I'm going to try not to go to such lengths as requiring major surgery to get the rest I needIt's amazing how much you can miss working and being busy when you're forced to stop doing it for a while though, I guess.
I'm glad some of us are happy and bouncy at the moment though! Fingers crossed it's infectious.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!

No thanks whatsoever (see my thread in the jobs forum) from my job, and I'm piled with more and more work that just isn't going to get done or kept on top of.
If it's any consolation, my job is the same and after one of my bosses spoke to me like I was a piece of poo at a Christmas party last night I will be spending the hols updating my CV and posting it on every job board I can find!0 -
