I am currently on the E.ON Next Pledge Tracker 12 months v2 which had a £25 early exit fee when I signed up to it.

On my February invoice, it showed my tariff as havinag £25 exit fee. However I have just noticed that my March invoice states there is no early exit fee.

I am considering renewing to v3 hence entending the deal from 1 October 2024 to 1 April 2025.

PS: I have just noticed that the current offering is version 4.
@RG2015 does the pledge tariff take a little discount off each monthly bill or is it only applied as a lump to the final bill in the 12 months please?
They charge a reduced rate per kWh. I have shown the SVR and Next Pledge comparison below.

My annual forecast is 2,770 kWh so this times the £0.92 rate difference gives me my £25. I only have electricity.

    Standing charge                56.00p/day              56.00p/day

New Pledge V4 rates have changed

They vary from region to region. I am in East Midlands. Looks like you are in the Northern Region.

I still find it odd that the electricity standing charge varies so much. 71.2p/day in the Northern region and 56p/day in East Midlands.

I also just looked back to my 2 year fix that ended only one year ago when it was 22.9p/day.

On 1 April 2023 it increased from 22.9 to 50.3p/day

I’ve just switched to the Pledge Tracker 12mV4 tariff. With my gas usage still fairly high (65kwh a day) it made sense to switch rather than wait for July when my Next Loyalty fix tariff ended.

I like the freedom of the no exit fee on the Pledge tariff so I’ll analyse the fixed tariffs on the market after the next price cap amendment ahead of locking in a rate for Winter 2024/25.
