stevio, the direct number for the switching team is 0345 6049956.  I believe their hours may be Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

    Thanks DC Scotland

I'm not saying that dc_scotland has any malicious intent, but it's good practice to never trust contact details provided by any third party without verifying them yourself... otherwise you'll eventually be drawn into a scam.

As for your switch issue, unless you selected a specific completion date, your switch should complete on Monday (or maybe Tuesday). As mentioned above, the process is 7 working days. Your old Natwest account should continue to function fully until that point, so the debit card problem sounds like it needs to be directed towards Natwest.

Edit: Maybe worth a mention... a better way of mitigating switch issues in future is to switch a secondary account instead of your primary. You will still be rewarded (as long as you fulfill the switch requirements) and you can manually migrate things over at a future date once you are happy with the new service.

You just create a couple of cheap DDs  to add to a donor account - if you need them. Not all switching deals require them. A lot less hassle than switching a 'main' account. Even if you pay out say £2 or£3 per month you will have earned plenty of extra cash from the switch deal.
Look to separate out utility bills: mine go out from 4 different accounts to fulfil conditions.

Bridlington1 resurrected a useful thread detailing a (not yet complete) list of ways to generate direct debit / debit card payments. It has fallen off the first page, but you can find it here:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6445857/savings-investment-dds-and-debit-card-deposits-an-updated-list/p1

Some options are better/easier than others, so it's worth reading the whole thread. If you wish, over time, to chase every switch and bank incentive that you are eligible for (using multiple secondary accounts), then you'll probably need a means of artificially meeting the various requirements.
