I have now received a Claim Form from Northampton County Court Business Centre dated 23 August.

With a Claim Issue Date of 23rd August, you have until Monday 11th September to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 25th September 2023 to file your Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

    That's a Witness Statement.
What are you planning to do with that?

At this stage in the process you should be preparing a Defence and a few days ago you told us "my defense is almost ready".

Have you filed an Acknowledgment of Service? Just two days left to do that.
  • I have filled the acknoledgement service.  please tell me what to do next
  • can someone help me with the defence , i believe I have a few days left

Doesn't the second post on the NEWBIES thread answer those questions?

There are a few more hoops to jump through before you send a Witness Statement anywhere.
