That has to be a record - hardly half a day and that included asking for ideas, going to the shop and building it!4

Good work, that looks a lot tidier

Everything so expemsive now.2 -
At my old house these were boxed in using a wooden frame and plywood, then matching tiles and edging stuck over the top. However the isolation valve for the toilet was just behind the toilet outside of the boxing. What you've done looks really smart though, I would be happy with that. £27 for a piece of corrugated plastic though!1

Went to my local Eurocell thinking they will have offcut or something they said theirs was £80 think he said 5 feet but said they supplied Wickes.
The problem is once the builder is done, will cost more in labour to get things sorted and the pipe works before renovation looked ugly as the bath was previously the other way.
The renovation has come at a cost but glad it's nearly over and can't wait to start getting some income.

I bought end caps for some decorative uPVC sash horns recently - was expecting them to be about £10 but they were nearly £50 for a bag.Zoe02 said:Went to my local Eurocell thinking they will have offcut or something they said theirs was £80 think he said 5 feet but said they supplied Wickes.

I am shocked the rate at which things are now so expensive.0 -
The only advantage I can see with that very large unnecessary boxing in, is that you can place a mug of tea on there while reading the morning paper.😂1

Why did you say large unnecessary boxing in, what would have been the alternative in this situation?plumb1_2 said:The only advantage I can see with that very large unnecessary boxing in, is that you can place a mug of tea on there while reading the morning paper.😂1
