That rubbish about byelaws being obsolete is the same nonsense they used at Liverpool. Byelaws never become obsolete as they are statutory legislation. The only way they can be rescinded is through the Secretary of State's actions so ask them for proof of that.Nor are they static and only relevant to the old site. The relate to "The Airport" wherever that Bristol airport may shuffle about to and operate from. If they are obsolete as they claim, how do they manage airside where the CAA requires byelaws to be in place or the airport would shut down? Further, byelaws create a statutory right to pass in all public access area subject to those byelaws and, as statutory legislation, it trumps the poxy "Licence to Pass" they try to fob people off with. You already have a statutory right to pass and don't need their permission. Their client's opinion of bylaws is irrelevant, it is the law that counts and they are bound by them or they wouldn't be able to run the airport.

In short, they are lying and misleading the public.
