Thanks @savergrant
Have unlimited except data.
2GB data more than enough.
What hoops do I have to jump through to save £3 ?
Normally find, if I pay peanuts - I get monkeys.
No disrespect to monkeys
Thanks

No catch, one month deal can autorenew or buy as a one off by calling them.
You can test your signal by ordering a free sim which can receive calls and texts without being topped up.
Generally good reviews but obviously at the budget end.1 -
As a Plusnet customer, I was looking at 1p mobile 2 days ago and thought I'd go for the 4GB £7.50 bundle then when I went to order I found I had to pay £10. It's very confusing so I raised a query with them. As yet I've had no reply. I don't understand why they have this complicated system. Why can't we just pay £7.50 every month as you would with most other providers. I thought it was a reasonable deal with EU roaming but it's too complicated for me and I'm going to look somewhere else.0

I suppose it depends on network service in your area, but the main MSE site regularly has SIM-only deals that sound better than this.
Currrently Lebara on the vodafone network has a monthly SIM deal for 5Gb data, unlimited text & uk calls, plus 100 mins international calls for under £5.

For £7 you could use uswitch to get 15Gb of date (same provider)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

So month 1 pay £10 deduct £7.50
2 pay £10 deduct £7.50
3 pay £10 deduct £7.50
4 don't pay anything. Deduct £7.50
Repeat
But as said above unless you need bells and whistles 1pmobile is not the cheapest, ee themselves are cheaper.0 -
All you need to do with 1pMobile is to set auto renewing on the £7.50 boost and 1p will take it from your balance each month, if the balance is less than £2 they'll take £10 off you as that's their minimum topup. So you end up paying £7.50 per month but because of the above it comes out of your bank in lumps of £10 and not necessarily every month.
I was confused at first by their requirement for a £10 topup every 120 days but soon realised that's irrelevant if you are paying £7.50 a month for your "boosts". The £10 every 120 days only really applies to those who want to have a SIM to put in a phone they keep switched off in the glovebox in case they break down, and never really use it. 1P basically want to make make a minimum of £30 a year from customers and I think that's fair enough.
Those who do keep the phone in the glovebox will gradually build up a balance they'll not use, but which won't expire. They'd be well advised to make a quick call very month or two to stop themselves being cut off. I suspect the 1P isn't a suitable network for them.

And there is a problem with autotopup as if your balance is £2-£7.49 it won't autotopup but you won't have sufficient credit to pay for your £7.50 bundle, which I presume means it will fail to renew.
Sometimes 1pmobile allow you to sacrifice £10 of credit to extend service for another 120 days but this is discretionary and can't be relied on
Very light users would be much better off with rwg or tesco lite tariff.0
