Can you set a Maximum limit on a RBS Contactless Payment Debit Card.

I got through the post from my bank the RBS a Contactless Payment Debit Card to replace my Cashline ATM Card.

At the moment I do not have Phone or Digital Banking and I happy with that for now.

Can I set a Maximum limit for spending on this card? I called RBS and they said no, you would need to use the Digital App but the Customer Service Advisor on the phone did not sound sure that he knew what I was on about.

Does anyone know if this is correct?

That website says no - if it's a Visa card.

I thought all RBS (and others in the NatWest group) were moving to Mastercard?  I can set contactless limit on my MC Debit card in the app (or turn it off altogether).  For other payment types I can "freeze" but not set a specific limit.
