They don't appear to be classified on the online reading, I'll check an actual bill.Gerry1 said:As Robin9 asked, how are the meter readings on the bill classified, e.g. Smart, Customer, Actual, Your Reading, Our Reading, Estimated?
Can we check then that you are reading the meters correctly.
A photo or two would help0 -
56207 - your earlier post gave 56108 on May 18 - that 20kWh a day - again WOW - just what are you using electricity forNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Do the Meter Sanity Test for electricity. Also do a similar test for the gas meter. Turn the gas fully off using the lever next to the meter. Take a photo of the m3 reading and leave it turned off for as long as possible (the longer the better, and at least overnight). Take another photo just before you turn the supply back on.If there is any variance between the two readings then the meter is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Judging by your last picture, you do have a smart meter. You're getting confused with the In Home Display (IHD).

But the Gas one doesn't work as they say its to far away from the electricity one which is why I have to read it every month0 -
Have you been around your house to see what is plugged in?
Do you know what the other occupants are up to?
Gaming PC's, Fan heaters, long showers etc.0 -
Smart gas meters can go faulty, especially when the battery starts to fail. Even more likely in your case because it can't phone home with a warning.

Possible but the fact that consumption is multiples of normal on gas and electricity suggests high consumption habits.0
