As a guideline, a "typical user" is expected to use in the region of 12,000 kWh Gas & 2900 kWh electric per year - yours are pretty much the other way around, and as gas is a substantial amount cheaper per unit than electricity this is why you're finding your costs so high I suspect. the flip side of the high electricity of course is the comparatively low gas use - how is your home heated? Think about all the forms of heating you use, not just what you think of as your "main" form of heating.

@Frazerjclark , in addition to doing an audit, read you meters daily for a while and see how much gas and electricity you are using. Look for a consistently high usage or something peaking on one day but not another.Your electricity meter reads in kWh, but for the gas, which is presumably metric and has m3 somewhere on it, multiply the difference between the readings by 11 to get a close approximation to kWh.Then start changing things and see if the figures drop.

If the Megaflo also has an immersion heater, make sure it's left permanently switched off.
