So just tried again still no luck. What I have noticed is all the 5K manual saves done on 19th still show as processing which maybe explains itThe greatest prediction of your future is your daily actions.0

If so, then the debit card transactions will take a couple of working days to clear and become available for withdrawal. This is pretty standard for debit card transactions. You won't start to earn interest until they have cleared, which is why you'll see people warning against paying in by debit card.0

So, if I get this thread right, you deposited £25k on the 19th, and then wanted to withdraw some again the same day 🤔dont_use_vistaprint said:So just tried again still no luck. What I have noticed is all the 5K manual saves done on 19th still show as processing which maybe explains it
Issues aside, why would you do that? Did you deposit too much by mistake to start with?
Just curious.
I had a deposit, via open banking, pending a few days from my linked account, so cancelled the pending transaction and transferred it instantly through FP.
How did you deposit your funds, ie what method?0 -
No I did a few by Apple Pay / card but there’s a max £500 so I linked my account with open banking and did several £5K deposits.masonic said:dont_use_vistaprint said:So just tried again still no luck. the balance is correct but all the £500 and £5000 deposits show as processingThe greatest prediction of your future is your daily actions.0 -
Every time I try to withdraw a red error message pops up at the bottom saying 'connectivity issues' or a completely useless 'something went wrong'. After attempting it a few times, I think the withdrawal does actually work the first time and it just fails to update the balance, but even still that was the last straw when I already had reasons not to use them.

No I moved a total of 27.5 from chase to Barclays and then began moving to chip and realised it was 500 max by Apple Pay so linked my bank and did some 5ks to the total of 25 leaving 2.5 to pay a billwiseonesomeofthetime said:

later that day I got the bill but needed 5K and didn’t want to use my Barclays rainy day so went OD and then tried to move 2.5K back from chip and realised I can’t
I’m just used to instant moves between my accounts and specially as all are uk basedThe greatest prediction of your future is your daily actions.0 -
Tbh I don’t have confidence in them at all and for a little less interest chase and Marcus seem much better companies.Zaul22 said:Every time I try to withdraw a red error message pops up at the bottom saying 'connectivity issues' or a completely useless 'something went wrong'. Not being able to speak to someone on the phone when things go wrong and getting no response by email is a deal breaker for me , as soon as I can withdraw im
done with it

the balance is correct but all the £500 and £5000 deposits show as processingOdd, as I haven't noticed any delay between OB deposits and the money being available for withdrawal, nor any payments showing as processing. The £500 payments haven't had time to clear, but it sounds like the £5000 deposits have been held by the sending bank, perhaps the pattern of transactions was considered suspicious? If you're keen to get the money back ASAP, it might be worth checking with Barclays the OB transactions have definitely gone through. If not they might be able to cancel them.

My account was flagged for a review the day I opened an account and dumped most of my savings in it. It took a couple of days to get it unlocked following which all withdrawals and deposits using OB have been instant and I've had no issues since then.
