Have I been missold my holiday?

In March this year I booked a package holiday to Lanzarote with Lastminute.com. This was for a surprise 50th birthday for my partner.
Upon arrival at Lanzarote ace airport, I set about finding a transfer to our accommodation (couldn't book transfer at time of booking) and was informed that in fact our accommodation was not in Lanzarote, but actually on the island of fuerteventura. This puzzled me as I booked 5 days in Lanzarote.
This ment we had to spend almost €200to get to our accommodation (€120 alone was for the ferry over and back from Fuerteventura)
At the time of booking nowhere stated that the accommodation was in fuerteventura. I have contacted Lastminute and they said I wasn't missold the package and closed my claim.
Have been missold the holiday?

What does your booking confirmation say?1

A 'true' package holiday would normally include transfer to the accommodation, so it's strange that yours didn't.
Are you sure it was a package holiday you booked, and not separate flights and accommodation packages?
If it really was a package holiday I would suggest that lastminute.com or their suppliers would ultimately be responsible for your additional costs if they flew you to the wrong airport!1 -
Definitely a package holiday, flights and accommodation booked all together as one.0

What is displayed on your booking confirmation?
That will list what your destination airport & hotel is.1 -

But did you choose the accommodation and flights yourself, or are you saying that they had already packaged them together?1

So on Last Minutes website they do have 2 options at the top of their page - "Holiday" & "Flight & Hotel".
Your confirmation above does say Flight & Hotel so Im not sure it is a package so to speak.1 -
