Might be the case for serial malingerers. But not my experience at all (bowel cancer).

Not my experience at all. I have dealt with OH both as a manager of other staff and in terms of my own return to work.  They made practical suggestions in terms of working hours, ergonomics and special equipment (the issues were orthopaedic in nature).  Obviously practitioners may differ.

Employee returns to work or employee is no longer employed. If there’s no adjustments that can be made there’s really no other realistic long term option.

Which is a relief presumably? You said they'd been contacting you more than you wanted.

Yes it is a relief. As previously they were contacting me more often. I suppose they now have the report and will sit tight for now.
