Trying to order on Amazon without free Prime trial

I could not find another suitable Forum so, if this is the wrong place to ask, please move for me. I have been going round in circles trying to decline this offer and I'm nearly giving up on the order altogether. Update to order experience:
I don't think it enrolled me into PRIME, but the order kept displaying a banner box stating I was being offered PRIME. I found this confusing, hence my rant above, apologies.
Spoke to Amazon next day who advised my PRIME membership (that I've never had) was cancelled - a good half hour I'll never get back.
