Trying to order on Amazon without free Prime trial

I could not find another suitable Forum so, if this is the wrong place to ask, please move for me. I have been going round in circles trying to decline this offer and I'm nearly giving up on the order altogether. If anyone can advise how to 'delete' this unwanted offer I'll be most grateful, thank you.
Also, when I try to login to my account, instead of my email and password, this page comes up. (Any help for both problems, please?) ":

UPDATE: I telephoned Amazon on {Removed by Forum Team}. The lady who answered did her best, checking, and the call lasted about 25 minutes.
She could see and understood that there was no way to cancel the free Amazon Prime offer and thought it may be a technical problem. She advised me to click on the order and I declined because I do not wish to accept the free trial offer. She said if I ordered she would cancel the free trial offer for me. I didn't feel able to do that and she understood.
She then advised me to try again in 24 hours. Meantime she said that she would raise the issue (I did not ask) as a complaint because there should be a way of declining the offer.
The lady did her best and put me on hold as she checked with her 'lead.'
I have not been able to place my order and, although accepting the situation, I do feel disappointed.1 -
Just accept the trial then immediately go into the Prime options and cancel it (it will cancel it at the end of the free trial). I've done this many, many times.

Thank you very much for replying, Peter999_2. I don't want to accept the trial then cancel. I would like to order 'normally' but maybe that is not possible if the acceptance of the free trial is essential. The lady I spoke to mentioned that it may be a technical problem.
Although I would be disappointed, I would not order from Amazon if acceptance of the offer was a requirement. I took a screenshot (after ticking that I did not wish to accept the offer) and it looks as if, somehow, I can't order without agreeing to the trial as the box confirming the free trial was still there at the checkout.0 -
Fortunately you have two.options
1. order, accept the trial.then cancel as advised above
2. don't use amazon2 -
Is it right enough, km, that accepting the trial is compulsory in order to order from Amazon?0

I think the issue is that most people would say OK I'll have the free trial and cancel it, so whilst it might be annoying wouldn't consider it an problem worth getting annoyed about.2

I understand, GrumpyDil. I really don't want to have the free trial forced on me though.
As km1500 says, it looks as if I accept the free trial or don't use Amazon.
Surely it can't be a fair or good business model. Can Amazon really do this?0 -
Not sure without seeing the exact screen you are on but there is usually a bypass / opt-out button subtly placed.5

Thank for very much for all the replies.
I received a message from Amazon Chat just now explaining that it is a technical problem, it is not policy, and they will fix it. I can order in 24 hours and won't, then, have to accept the Amazon Prime free trial.
It seems to have taken a while but is reassuring to know that Amazon recognize the problem (I, as they requested, sent them a screenshot) and are willing to fix it.1
