I had this from RBS yesterday. I contacted them and they confirmed it was really sent by them - to confirm the industry leading fraud protection in place. Not how the mail reads, suspect it was indeed the wrong message sent!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. They have a message about it on their Service Status page: https://www.natwest.com/service-status.html - scroll down to Online Banking. RBS and Ulster Bank have similar messages on their sites.
I am surprised they haven't sent a 'Sorry, please ignore the last email' message yet! I gather their call centre was very busy yesterday as a lot of customers were understandably concerned that some kind of fraud was taking place.3 -
I'm starting to feel a bit left out here. I never received this email and what's more my Principality BS statement arrived in English and not Welsh the other week as some on this forum have found. Could my technical curse have finally come to an end at long last?2
