Strange Nat West Email.

Good evening,
Interested on thoughts re this one. Received an Email from the N.West. Broadly speaking, welcoming me to internet banking and saying that my security code reader is in the post. Email looks normal, absolutely genuine and includes various personal details in line with their security policy on Emails. Senders address looks genuine. Trouble is, I've been with Nat West internet banking for ages and already have a code reader - therefore it's nonsense. I've reported it as phishing - out of principle - and not clicked on anything.
Has anyone had a similar missive? Thanks.

Yes, I had one. Have a look on the NatWest Banking Group Twitter feeds if you’d like some reassurance:
https://twitter.com/NatWest_Help/with_replies
https://twitter.com/RBS_Help/with_repliesTo cover myself, I’ve messaged them in the app to say I didn’t reregister.
In summary, they had a glitch. I am surprised they haven’t notified affected customers yet to tell them to ignore the email. If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.
