I am out of contract with my ISP PlusNet at the end of the month. I would like to keep them them as my ISP on my current deal or cheaper if I can get it.
I pay a Monthly total £39.20 this includes Unlimited Fibre Line Rental, Unlimited U.K and Mobile.
Its for Phone only I don't use TV.
Does anyone have any advice please?
Thanks

The obvious answer is to call them surely?
What speed BB is it as that price seems high?0 -
£38.75 a month for new customers for 24 months, 66Mbs avg. BB speed from the MSE Unbundled site. Seems high to me but if you really must retain Plusnet then call them and see what they'll do.JSmithy45AD said:The obvious answer is to call them surely?

if you go to your account on the portal there should be an "offers" section - see what you are being offered.
Also, it would appear that Plusnet are pulling out of mobile.

I suspect that the "Unlimited Fibre Line Rental, Unlimited U.K and Mobile." bit should have the word "calls" on the end of it.BUFF said:if you go to your account on the portal there should be an "offers" section - see what you are being offered.

I have the same exactly - £31.40. Negotiate harder! This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

Plusnet don’t seem to be as interested in negotiating as they used to be. The response I had last time was “well go somewhere else then.”All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Tbh there has been a suggestion that BT were considering shuttering the whole operation.1

The unlimited calls plan is around £11 , so £38.75 could be reduced to around £27 ish , not the cheapest 80Mb FTTC , but certainly in the ballpark so at a minimum , a question you should be asking yourself is would PAYG calls make more sense , an immediate £11 saving , obviously someone making one ‘landline’ call a day would probably be better on an inclusive calls package , but could those calls be from a mobile that already has calls included ?
As indicated the obvious thing to do is call Plusnet ( retentions ) say you are looking to leave as the price isn’t competitive, and have a genuine competitor price ready to quote ( PN don’t know you don’t want to leave ) , for example ‘Now’ 80Mb and unlimited calls is £33 ( £25+£8 ) and ask if they will beat , match or get closer to keep you as a customer ,I don’t know if the Now inclusive calls is a direct match to PN , it may be for £11 PN include more than Now do for £8.0 -
Had a look at offers and is says your Renewal Price £28.99 Month 18 Month ContractSaving of £10.21hmmmm1
