Be careful what you wish for, could mean removal of tempting joining offers.

Not even sure that is working - I had a renewal quote from my then current insurer in Feb. Went on to Compare the Market (or similar) and got cheaper quotes including from the then supplier!!

Plusnet sent me an email offering to renew at £26.99 per month.  However, their online account management was offering £22.99 per month for 18 months.
I phoned to ask if they'd improve the offer, but they were sticking to £26.99, with the result that I tried to renew online while I was still on the phone to them. The agent warned me that this probably wouln't work.  He was correct, as I was taken to "Something's gone wrong" page.

I've now received an email, confirming a new contract at £22.99 per month for 18 months.  However, this doesn't begin until 5 July, with my present contract finishing on 12 June.  That leaves me with a bill for £35.82 for the intervening three weeks.
