  • Remember unless you let them know its affecting you they wont know any different therefore wont have a reason to deal with it. I say give everyone a chance, its when they abuse it they lose it! x

..... i agree that if they apear to be friendly or not troublesome just have a little word - dont need to mention canabis, just ask if they regularly smoke in the house as the smell is filtering into your little boys room, they will know what you mean, then explain that its his room and see if the could smoke elsewhere and maybe do a bit of seeling up the floor gaps etc at their end too. Be freindly, they wll prob be more grateful for it and you may even become on good terms with them which will always make for more thoughtful neighbours in future........

    Perfect answer
  • I had the same problem & posted here too...

Here's the link to mty thread. Advice on here really helped & I called Crimestoppers in the end.

Now the smell has gone, not sure if they got a warning from the police or whatever but I cant smell it anymore.

    I'd say something too.

It doesn't have to be rude........you could just ask them something along the lines of, "I've got a really odd question to ask, but do any of you smoke in the bathroom, as something is really affecting my little boy's room?"

It opens lines of communication and it could be something really simple for them to stop. Bad neighbours are generally not usual. Most people want to get on and have a quiet life.

As it's something that is affecting your little boy, they are not going to think you odd for being concerned.
"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
