PCN - private car park - Highview (already at Debt Collector stage)

Snail mail - asking for 30 days 'debt advice extension' will have landed today, and I emailed their main email address too - stating the same.
Not sure how long they take to reply.
Meanwhile, I guess its just sit and wait. Having read through some of the court defence drafts that people have posted, my actual story is nothing like any of them and am unsure how well it will fit if it comes to that.
EDIT: I did receive their automated email system reply so I know mine got there, which is the main thing - it urged me to use their online web Response Form, which obviously I have no intention of doing.0 -
Everyone has a defence and every 'single-PCN' DCB Legal claim we help defend is discontinued with no hearing.
So, there are no concerns as long as you told DCBLegal to ERASE THE OLD ADDRESS.
If you got a SAR from Highview, as the PCN was dated February I'd be surprised if it's POFA - worded for keeper liability. They've only changed their wording about 6 months ago.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No reply from DCB Legal as yet re: debt advice extension.
And yes (just checked) the email to Highview (Nexus) and DCBL DPO's specified which address and instructed them to erase the old one....0 -

Not To SAR when it's DCB (was DCB Ltd, now DCB LegaL) albeit the SAR would be going to Highview/Nexus.
I will hold off currently and poke around the forum and try to see where DCB no SAR thing came in....
EDIT: seems the 'hold off on SAR' is due to DCB Legal claims being so vague woolly PoC that its best to let that come through first, then SAR (Highview/Nexus)
fwiw that could well be the case - they still haven't been able to find me in their records (to correct my address) despite being given name, address and their own reference number.0 -
Letter back from DCB Legal today confirming a 30-day extension whilst I take any debt advice, though accepting I deny any debt... blah blah blah.
Reminds me that if I don't make payment within this period then a claim will be issued against me without further notice.
So back to waiting.....1 -
Things seem to be moving a bit faster now.... somewhat mystifyingly so - am curious as to whether the left and right hand at DCB Legal know what the other is doing.
So around 20th August I receive a letter from DCB Legal, dated 14 or 15th - agreeing to the 30 day extension before anything further.
And yet now, today, I came home to find the wad of court/claim forms?0 -
