My TV is pretty basic and not HD, so the quality is fine for me1 -
I've ordered the Amazon fire stick, will test today, hopefully no issues (with my copper wire broadband speeds ~12-13mps)1

It should be ok, I have mega fast full fibre now ( about 170mbps ) but used to use it on my old copper one that was only about 5mpbs and it worked fine on that for non HD1

The Management Company / Freeholder of your Leasehold flat will be taking your money for maintenance of the communal system and giving you nothing in return if you let them.
A Firestick may be a useful thing but is not the same as proper broadcast HD TV.2 -

Not ridiculous at all given we've just moved in and I've checked with the management company and awaiting their response. In the meantime, the firestick is doing the job and I'll be using that from now on.1 -
