Thanks both, it all seems to be going OK at the moment (knocks on wood)
The weather has finally brightened here and I am hoping to do some sorting in the garden at lunch as we are having friends over this weekend. Today will be a NSD for me and I have sent £5 to the EF as my PAD. I've checked Prolific and whilst there's only 28p available, I have £11+ pending so I will check on that later.
I have had to contact Nationwide this morning as my mobile app and online account was no longer showing our mortgage. I check this every day so I was shocked to see it was missing. They've sorted it now, it was just a glitch but I'm glad order has been restored!
That's about it for me this morning, I still have 6 days to go before I get paid and the spreadsheet indicates I have just over £100 available, hopefully most of this will end up in the EF and sealed pot at the end of the month.
Have a good day all

Morning all and happy Friday! Not much to report today so this will be a quick update. It’s a NSD, a busy day for me all round. I’ve made the usual PAD of £5 to the EF, but I also had a partial refund on one of the books I bought earlier in the month, so that’s £1.05 sent to the sealed pot.I’ve got some bagged coins from the sealed pot that I need to bank, so I’ll try and do that at lunchtime if I get chance.Have a lovely day, and weekends ahead!LMD xLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25712

Good morning all. Sorry I didn't update yesterday but I was in the office so didn't really get a chance and then last night we were visiting family and didn't get home as early as we had intended. I went to the staff shop yesterday and picked up a few bits so definitely wasn't a NSD. Today I have a medical appointment so hospital parking means another spending day.
My PAD this morning included £5 to the EF and an account round down of £4.69 to the sealed pot. The Sealed Pot challenge ends exactly 1 month today so it's a last push now. Hubby has already been asking how much money w should take for our big holiday spending. I have no idea! He suggested we research it but it all depends on travellers individual circumstances so I think we will end up taking a few hundred £'s worth of Rand each and then use cards to pay or get more cash out. Our trips will be paid for before we go so we will only need cash for tips and food there.
I've checked Prolific this morning but there's nothing payable. Hopefully I can pick up a few surveys whilst I am at my desk today, my appointment is midday.
I will call at the cash point later and draw what's left in my accounts out and add them to my cash envelope challenge bonus envelope.
That's pretty much it from me today. All totals are looking decent and I feel comfortable with my finances (knock on wood) Just need to get my health sorted out now.
Have good days peeps

Thank you, it was OK. I tend to get very worked up as I have health anxiety.
Paid in the morning and the cash machine was out of order so I have transferred £60 to the sealed pot.

The appointment wasn't so bad. Need to book the next few in now, one down, three to go.
I'm sorry I am late today, I was at the gym before work and then had calls from 8am so this is the first opportunity I have had to drop and update. Today is pay day and I have sent £500 to savings, along with the October 1p challenge allocation and £5 to the EF.
It's a NSD for me today and I don't have plans to spend until Saturday, we will see how that goes! Will be aiming for 20 NSDs in October as it gets closer to the holiday.
Having got up at 5 today I am already feeling tired. I have meetings all day today and again all day tomorrow so I am really looking forward to Friday. My OH is off out with his friends tonight so I have plans to have a long soak in the bath and catch up on some TV before probably having an early night.
I am really pleased with my sealed pot this year, and I am confident that it will cover Christmas, our big holiday spending and my Black Friday trip away. I would also like to complete my EF with it at the end of this pay period as it will only be a few hundred short by then.
I'll just update my signature and then back to the bloody calls!
Happy Wednesday
