I assume you have told him it isn't a "fine"?
UKPC rejecting an appeal is hardly surprising either as you should know.

Cheers Coupon-mad, its because he does not want a bad debt rating as he has just bought a flat. He paid to park but in a residents parking bay. the sign was written on the floor!!!

Then please inform him that he cannot get a bad debt rating from this 'just like that'. He would have to lose at "small claims court" ( as many call it), and then not pay within the given time for it to have any effect. You are a long way off any of that.

The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.

Is this the same brother that paid the debt collector £170 (against all advice) last time he received a PCN?

Why do you think a CCJ can happen?  By following our advice a CCJ can never happen.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No that is not the correct advice.
The first few paragraphs of the second post of the NEWBIES thread explain exactly how to deal with a Letter of Claim.

But this thread is about a 2023 parking incident.
If you don't already have a thread about this January 2024 incident, then please start one now.

Meanwhile, what has happened with the incident already being progressed in this thread?
